AWAKEN is a fellowship, devotion, and learning experience offered as a ministry of the UM4GI parish – Faith, First, and Trinity United Methodist Churches.
AWAKEN includes small group community and learning with these groups:
- Middle School and High School Parish Youth Groups
- Confirmation Preparation
- Grades 1-5
- Adult Discussion
- Mom’s Group
- Infant & Childcare
- & more to be added!
We believe God is working through our three churches to AWAKEN our spirits to greater faithfulness. Please come and participate, that you might be part of this new AWAKENING in Grand Island. There’s something for all ages!
AWAKEN is taking a brief hiatus for the month of January so that leaders may reflect on the ministry to this point and plan some changes. Please note that during this hiatus, small groups will continue to meet! See group leaders for any changes in location or time, or contact any UM4GI church office.
Beginning again on February 1, 2012, AWAKEN will move to Trinity UMC at 5th and Elm. We will start with a meal at 5:30pm, a devotion time in Gollaher Chapel at 6:30pm and our regular AWAKEN small groups immediately following. There is something for all ages.
