First-Faith is located at 4190 Capital Avenue in Grand Island.
Join us at Trinity on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. for traditional worship in Gollaher Chapel, or Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for traditional worship and 11:00 a.m. for contemporary worship in the Sanctuary. The Arabic Sudanese Worship service is held at noon in Gollaher Chapel on Sundays.
Trinity is located at 511 N. Elm in Grand Island.
Youth Activities ::
Footprints UMYF welcomes all 6th-12th graders to experience a deeper walk with God as we gather every Sunday evening from 5:45-7:30 p.m. for food, fun, and fellowship in the First-Faith Fellowship Hall!
Join us for Trinity’s Zone (K-5th) on Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. in Rooms 7 & 8. We have a blast engaging in bible study, games, creative projects and fun. Youth Ministries (6-12th) meets on Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. in the youth room. Come gather for experiential worship and prayer, creative bible study, and formative community activities.
Sudanese Youth meet following worship at 1 pm in the Trinity Gathering Place.
Study Groups ::
Primetimers is meeting again this month! There’s optional fellowship before the meal at noon in form of card games, which begin at 10 a.m. Please call the church office this week to sign up, or stop by and sign up on the clipboard in the office.
Pastor Russ’ Mathètè’s group meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. They’re doing a study over a book called “Rest.”
ReCharge young adult group meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Mom’s Group meets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Parlor.
The Men’s Study meets at 7:00 a.m. on Fridays at Tommy’s.
A new weekly Men’s Group will have their first gathering on Jan. 24 at 6:00 p.m. This will be a time of fellowship in the Parlor to discuss Christian manhood for families and in today’s society.
Other News ::
There will be a Big Picture meeting for all Trinity committee and team members on Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Miller Hall. In approximately 45 minutes, the pastors will discuss what each committee does so that we’ll all have a Big Picture of our 2017 ministry. Please bring finger food to share. Coffee and cold drinks will be provided!

First Faith will be having a soup supper and bake sale on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Chili, cheeseburger soup and chicken noodle soup will be served, as will be a variety of pies, cakes and cookies. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children under age 12. You’re also invited to bring a canned good to support the Grand Island Food Pantry.
There are still a few bags of pecans left for $9 a pound! If you’re interested, please give Margie Balderston a call at 308-382-3272 — you can keep them fresh for up to two years by freezing them!
