The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is responding to Typhoon Haiyan, an incredibly large and massively destructive storm that struck the Philippines on Friday, November 8th. Many areas still need basic needs met. UMCOR initially distributed food and water purification tablets to affected areas and will continue in their efforts to provided longer-term rehabilitation projects when ready.
