U2charist approaches again, this year scheduled for April 17, 2014 at 7:00pm at the historic Grand Theater. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this worship and communion service that pushes the boundaries of our perceptions of spirituality and holiness. In years past – and even at the Nebraska State Fair this past year – UM4GI has worked hard to illustrate God’s infinite presence through this blurring of boundaries between sacred and secular.
This year, some familiar elements and people will be present again, including songs “40” and “Walk On”; the same musicians including Pastors Matt and Bob; and a free-will offering to support Hope Harbor. Some differences will include the new song “Ordinary Love”, and guest preacher Rev. Michael Patzloff from Aurora UMC.
Make plans for April 17th at The Grand Theater. Bring family and friends for an out-of-the-box worship experience, and invite someone who may be ready for an exciting juxtaposition of spirituality and rock-and-roll.
And don’t worry. We’ll provide the earplugs.
