Nebraska Food Co-Op Ordering

Nebraska Food Co-Op Ordering

The UM4GI Going Green Group encourages you to consider ordering from the Nebraska Food Co-Op.  Nebraska farmers, gardeners, and craftspeople sell their wares through the Nebraska Food Cooperative to offer you the best of local foods and crafts.  Buying local is about quality and knowing where your food comes from, as well as supporting your community and state in the process.

The ordering schedules for spring and summer will be more frequent with opportunities to order every two weeks through the website.  Be sure to check out the schedule here and plan to pick up your order at Trinity UMC  on the Friday after the highlighted pick-up date on the website.  If you have questions about orders, payment, or pick-up call Susan at Trinity.

If you are new to the Co-Op, there are a variety of ways to join:

  • Voting Member:  For $100, you get one share of common stock with an additional $20 annual fee after the first year of membership.
  • Non-voting Member:  $40 annual payment, but no voting rights with the co-op.
  • Visitor:  There is no membership fee, but there is a $6 surcharge with every order you place.  You can buy, but you cannot sell on the co-op.
  • Free Trial:  You can order once for free to try out the co-op and then choose a regular membership option with your second order.
