On March 29 and 30, retired Bishop Ann Sherer-Simpson preached at all UM4GI churches about Epworth Village. Epworth Village is a ministry of the United Methodist Church that provides family-centered treatment to bring hope and healing to youth and families in a compassionate and caring manner. It serves boys from 7 to 18 and their families who are dealing with severe emotional and behavior disorders through a residential treatment center, foster care, and services to help support families. If you became an Epworth Partner, please inform the church office where you worship, because Bishop Sherer-Simpson has asked us to give her the names of everyone in our churches who become active partners. Active partners promise to: 1. Pray for the work of Epworth Village, 2. Keep informed of the work and happenings, and 3. Send ongoing monthly gifts. You can sign up using an Epworth Village brochure, or sign up on line here (but let us know if you do it on-line). If you would like to be part of a team to help update the congregation about Epworth or get involved in serving the children and their families, please let one of the pastors know or call the church office at First-Faith or Trinity.
