Plans are under way to begin a Disciple Bible Study in September. This 34-week program will consist of weekly meetings for 21/2 hours, plus at least 3 hours of independent study. The Disciple Program assumes that people are hungry for the Word of God, for fellowship in prayer and study, and for a sense of appropriate ministry as Christians. It aims at developing biblically nourished, committed disciples and expects consistent participation and attendance at the weekly group sessions.
This study will be led by Bette Pore, a member of Trinity, and will meet at Trinity, but it is open to people from all three churches of UM4GI, as well as people from the community who are interested in this type of study. If you have friends who would be interested in participating, invite them to sign up with you. If you are interested in signing up or getting more information, call Bette or any UM4GI church office and leave your name and phone number.
There will be an orientation meeting held in Trinity’s Youth Room at 12:30 p.m. on September 11th. The program will be on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m., starting on September 25th, and will be held in Trinity’s Youth Room weekly.
