The Youth Annual Conference is amazing from the beginning and has proved to be a time when youths and adult sponsors learn more about worship. In one of the sessions, an important question for reflection was asked, who is God? This is a question that some only expect young people to reflect on but it is also important for adults to define who God is to them.
We all view God in a different way and there is no perfect dimension or understanding of God that can be shared by many. God relates to us in unique ways and we understand him more from our personal experiences and circumstances. If you were asked this question, how would you answer.
Indeed God is the creator of the universe, the King of Kings, Prince of Peace, the redeemer, our savior. All those aspects are used to give us an idea about the God we worship. God is more than what we can collectively imagine. Above all, he is your friend and always on your side, ready to hold your hand and move with you everywhere even during difficult times. God wants you to know him and relate to him personally, he is seeking for a personal relationship with you and walk with you.
As we move on with life, let us remember to understand God in a unique way and experience him in our lives. Let us invite him to reveal himself to us and to be on our side. God is knocking at the door and waiting for you to open so he can enter, reveal himself and share a meal with you.
