UM4GI is a cooperative and outward-focused ministry of three United Methodist congregations in Grand Island, Nebraska. We are working to become United Methodists for Grand Island (UM4GI).
Faith UMC was first established in 1879 as Salem Evangelical Church and now teaches and worships on the corner of 12th and Eddy streets.
First UMC was established in 1968 as the first UMC congregation after the Methodist Episcopal Church united with the Evangelical United Brethren Church in April of that year. Teaching and worship take place on the corner of Independence and W Capital in the Northwest area of Grand Island.
Trinity UMC was established in 1888 as Trinity Methodist Episcopal at 6th and Sycamore streets, and now teaches and worships on the corner of 5th and Elm.
